We have been experienced campers for a long time and know perfectly what our guests need. If you wish we'll help you placing your caravan or motor home. We'll provide you with a waste water hose and we won't let you alone with any of your problems. We will do everything to make our guests feel at home with us.

Valais is a paradise for people who love walking in the mountains. Hundreds of signposted walking tracks are waiting for you. We have prepared 15 suggestions for our guests, which we have walked ourselves. So you can receive competent information from us. These walking tracks either start directly at Camping Gemmi or the starting point can be reached fast by car or bus. At the reception desk you can use our self-made documentation for your information. Maps can be purchased in the shop. |
For the growing number of guests who are interested in alpine activities we have created a new site. Herbert Schawalder has been an acknowledged UIAGM guide and he was successfully practising this profession for over 12 years. In his leisure time he shared this activity with his wife Françoise and today his two sons follow in his footsteps. The Schawalders are glad to offer you help preparing your tours at any time. |
The Valais offers many objects of interest, which you should visit. Otherwise you would have missed a lot: gorgeous mountains, unique views, eternal (?) glaciers, dams and lakes. But some of these attractions can't be reached on foot. Today the excellent infrastructure, however, offers us the possibility to reach the most beautiful spots by car, bus and mountain railways. At the reception desk you can use our self-made documentation with pictures, information and routes. |
